To mark the 100th anniversary of the Nürburgring, BMW M and BMW Motorrad are presenting their joint anniversary edition, “100 Jahre Nürburgring.” It features three BMW Motorrad M models and pays tribute to a place that epitomizes driving dynamics, precision, and performance like no other.
The special edition models combine advanced high-performance technology with a unique design and equipment concept.
The BMW M 1000 RR, BMW M 1000 R, and BMW M 1000 XR make up the unique lineup of this special edition.
A common distinguishing feature of the three anniversary models is the Nürburgring Green paint color—
—developed specifically for this edition, complemented by edition- and model-specific elements. The edition’s slogan is “Born on the Racetrack. Made for the Streets.”
The limited-edition models are not available on the Dutch market, and each model is limited to 100 units worldwide.
The design concept incorporates the “100 Years” logo, the “Nürburgring since 1927” inscription, and the silhouette of the Nordschleife. Nürburgring Green serves as the visual thread throughout the edition. The special BMW Motorrad models feature a painted fuel tank with the silhouette of the Nordschleife, an airbox cover in an anniversary design with an individual “one of
100” marking, carbon wheels with accent stripes in Nürburgring Green, and an Alcantara-look seat with an embroidered “100.” Black components, such as the swingarm and rear frame, complete the look.
The edition’s standard equipment includes the M Track Package, the Nürburgring Green paint color, anniversary decals, carbon wheels, a black swingarm and black rear frame, and an Alcantara-look seat with “100” embroidery. The painted fuel tank with Nordschleife graphics and the airbox cover with anniversary design and “one of 100” marking create a direct connection to the racetrack. An M Cover Kit for the BMW M 1000 RR and BMW M 1000 R, an exclusive M motorcycle mat featuring the “100 Jahre Nürburgring” logo, and a rear-wheel paddock stand round out the package.
