BMW Motorrad presents the new BMW F 450 RR. This supersport motorcycle combines the distinctive RR DNA with a lightweight design, sporty handling, and powerful performance. With 48 pk and a curb weight of just 177 kg, the F 450 RR is designed for riders who want to enjoy sporty riding, whether on winding country roads or on the track.
Powerful performance in the 48 pk class
The BMW F 450 RR is powered by a newly developed 420 cc parallel-twin engine with an output of 35 kW (48 pk) at 8,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 43 Nm at 6,750 rpm. Thanks to the crankshaft with a 135-degree crankpin offset and a balance shaft, the engine combines a distinctive power delivery with smooth operation.
With a stated fuel consumption of 3.8 liters per 100 km and a fuel tank capacity of 14 liters, the F 450 RR is also suitable for longer rides. The motorcycle has a stated range of more than 350 km.
Designed for sporty handling
The steel trellis frame, short wheelbase, and geometry specifically tuned for supersport riding ensure agile handling and immediate feedback. The upside-down front fork and aluminum swingarm contribute to stability and control, both on winding roads and during spirited riding on the track.
The F 450 RR is also fully equipped when it comes to safety. Standard features include Rain, Road, and Race riding modes, BMW Motorrad ABS Pro, Dynamic Brake Control, Dynamic Traction Control, and engine braking torque control (MSR).
Sporty design with distinctive RR DNA
The design of the BMW F 450 RR is clearly inspired by the larger RR models, including the BMW S 1000 RR. The dynamic lines, winglets, asymmetrical fairing sections, and distinctive LED lighting give the motorcycle a distinctly sporty look.
The 6.5-inch TFT display provides access to comprehensive vehicle information and supports features such as phone calls, music, and navigation. In addition, the F 450 RR features a USB-C port and a sporty riding position with a standard seat height of 790 mm.
Four versions
The BMW F 450 RR is available in four trim levels: Base, Sport, M Sport, and M Sport with the Innovation Package. Depending on the trim level, the motorcycle features, among other things, Sport suspension, Shift Assistant Pro, and Riding Modes Pro. The trim level with the Innovation Package also comes equipped with the Easy Ride Clutch, which makes operating the clutch easier.
Starting in the summer of 2027 at Motor Venray
The new BMW F 450 RR will be available starting in the summer of 2027, with a suggested retail price starting at €8,100.
