The Kawasaki Z900 SE 2026 is an advanced evolution of the popular naked bike model, with improvements in performance, technology, and design.
Engine and Performance
The Z900 SE 2025 retains the 948cc inline four-cylinder engine, now optimized for Euro5+ emission standards. Thanks to modified camshafts and an updated ECU, the engine offers smoother torque in the low and mid-range, resulting in a responsive and efficient riding experience. Maximum power is 124 hp at 9,500 rpm, with torque of 97.4 Nm at 7,700 rpm.
Electronics and Driver Assistance Systems
A significant upgrade is the addition of a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), which provides lean-angle-dependent ABS and Kawasaki's Cornering Management Function (KCMF). These systems monitor parameters while cornering and adjust braking force and power delivery for optimal control. In addition, the Z900 SE is equipped with an up/down quickshifter, electronic cruise control, and multiple riding modes (Sport, Road, Rain, and a configurable Rider mode) for a personalized riding experience.
Chassis and Suspension
The frame of the Z900 SE is lightweight and offers agile handling. The SE variant is distinguished by high-quality components, including a fully adjustable front fork and an Öhlins S46 rear shock absorber with an external spring preload adjuster. This configuration provides improved stability and comfort, both on winding roads and during long rides.
Brakes and Safety
The Z900 SE is equipped with Brembo M4.32 monobloc calipers at the front, combined with radial Nissin brake pumps and steel braided brake lines. These high-quality brake components offer powerful and consistent braking performance, contributing to overall safety and rider confidence.
Design and Functionalities
The design of the Z900 SE 2025 has been refined with a sharper front end, new LED headlights, and brushed aluminum side covers, giving it a high-quality look. The rear is more compact and features a new LED taillight. The 5-inch TFT color display offers turn-by-turn navigation and voice control via the Rideology App, with two display layouts for a personalized interface.
Availability and Colors
The Kawasaki Z900 SE 2025 will be available from February 2025 at official Kawasaki dealers. The SE variant is available in Metallic Matte Graphite Gray / Ebony / Metallic Graphite Gray. Prices will be announced at a later date.
With these updates, the 2025 Kawasaki Z900 SE offers a balanced blend of performance, technology, and style, making it an attractive choice for both sporty and everyday riders.
