BMW S 1000 RR

The 2025 BMW S 1000 RR is a motorcycle derived from racing models and designed for high performance, both on the road and on the track. The new model retains the power of its predecessor with a 999cc four-cylinder engine that delivers 205 hp, along with 112 Nm of torque. All of this now complies with Euro5+ emission standards, meaning it is still powerful but is produced in a more environmentally friendly way.

One major improvement is the aerodynamics. The new winglets on the fairing increase downforce to 23 kg at a speed of 300 km/h. This helps to keep the front wheel on the ground during acceleration. Furthermore, the new front fork features integrated brake cooling channels, which reduce brake temperature during intensive use, which is particularly useful for racing.

In terms of riding technology, the S 1000 RR is equipped with a range of features such as Riding Modes Pro and electronic riding aids such as Brake Slide Assist and Slip Control. These features help riders manage the slip angle and maintain better grip in corners. The improved steering angle sensor also enables precise control, especially during sharp acceleration and braking maneuvers on the track.

For personalization, BMW offers various packages, such as the M package with lightweight M Carbon wheels, the Race package with an Akrapovic exhaust, and the Carbon package that adds extra carbon fiber parts. The RR also offers a choice of new color schemes, including the striking Motorsport color of the M package.

The engine will be available from the second quarter of 2025, and prices will be announced shortly. With these upgrades, the S 1000 RR remains a leading superbike, ready for both the open road and the racetrack.
